Wainsworth L. White is a certified IV degree black
belt instructor with the International Taekwon-Do
Federation (ITF) and the ITF-USA. Mr. White has
over twenty five years of martial arts experience.
His martial arts training started in 1984 while in
college in Jamaica W.I. During that year Mr. White
was introduced to Kung Fu. After about three
years of training and completion of college, Mr.
White migrated to the United States to further his
studies in the field of architecture. He attended
City College of New York where he earned a
bachelors degree in architecture. There were no
Kung Fu schools conveniently located to home or
college so in 1989 Mr. White decided to join the
on campus Taekwon-Do club in order to continue
his martial arts training. Since then Mr. White
continued to train in the art of Taekwon-Do Oh Do
Kwan style under Master Andres Mencia and was
promoted to green belt. Mr. White transferred to
Queens Taekwon-Do Center and continued
training under the tutelage of Master Ruben
Suarez. There he earned his first degree black
belt and subsequent dan promotions. After many
years of training and competing Mr. White
founded the Knights of Taekwon-Do teaching and
spreading the wonderful art of Taekwon-Do.
