ITF Taekwon-Do for Teens & Adults The taekwon-do program for teens and adults is for ages 13 to adults. It is an intense martial arts program geared towards preparing the student in the pursuit of gaining the full benefit of the martial arts. This program includes conditioning, flexibility, kicking and punching techniques, sparring, forms (katas), self-defense and tournament competition. ITF Taekwon-Do for Children Children are very impressionable and what they are taught at a very early stage in life will determine the type of adult that they will become. It is therefore very important to nurture and teach them good habits that will last a lifetime. When a child is influenced in a positive way they will be better able to handle the challenges they face today. This program is designed for children ages 4years to 12 years. The taekwon-do classes are not just showing up to the do jang to kick and punch. In addition to building their bodies physically basic values are reinforced as outlined in the "tenets" of taekwon-do and the student creed.
